" Hey wow - you guys are farmers in Ethiopia!" 
Never thought we could get a surprised response from our friends. Sometimes we had mention about our little farm far far away, but never gotten into detail what's the story behind. Until a year ago when we started our Instagram account just for fun. More like a journal for ourselves as we started to receive frequent updates and pictures from the farm.
It all started in 2014 when Johnny and Mebit met in a small 20 000 people town, in the middle of Finland, Jakobstad some 9 368 km's from Addis Abeba to be exact. We believe people across each others paths for a reason - no exception this time.  Mebit wanted to return home and we would make that happen.
In 2015 Mebit moved to Turku to join our relining academy. Later that year he moved back and opened Ethiopian office for our relining business in Addis Abeba. We had officially landed in Africa! 

During the couple of coming years the business was concentrated towards relining and house building. Johnny visited on site 1-2 times per year, mostly before  and after rain season. Plumbing is not so exciting hence no one was that interested about our doing somewhere in a distant continent. Until 2018 when we received an offer we could not turn down - farming! 
200 ha of uncleared land in Western Abaya between mountains and next to a lake.  One would say CRAZY - we said LET'S DO IT!
